Pros and Cons of Using Fresh Wedding Flowers For Rose Bridal Bouquet
Posted on Jan 22, 2009 under Wedding Flower Bouquets | No CommentThere is nothing like using fresh wedding flowers for your rose bridal bouquet. Many people nowadays prefer using silk flowers instead of the real ones, but the fresh flowers still have a certain vibrancy that is uniquely seen in things that are fresh and alive.
One pro to using fresh flowers would be the presence of the scent. Fresh flowers give out a very sweet fragrance that will definitely linger. This is especially for the case of the rose, which often gives off a rather sweet smell that will definitely captivate the people around you. On the flip side, using fresh flowers might aggravate some allergies.
They carry pollen with them and can bring about some allergy attacks to those who are rather sensitive. Another advantage to using fresh wedding flowers for the rose bridal bouquet would be the vibrant colors of the fresh flowers. Although silk flowers do have similar shades to the real ones, the silk ones can never match the vibrant colors and shades.
However technology has aided in the production of silk flowers. They are now more realistic looking. Different materials are used in order to make them as natural looking as possible. One big difference would be the price.
Silk flowers are often cheaper compared to the real ones. Fresh flowers require much care and other materials such as soil, fertilizer among others.
All these cost quite an amount which leads to rather expensive fresh wedding flowers for your rose bridal bouquet. So weigh the pros and cons before choosing the type of flower you would want for your bridal bouquet.
